Product description

Chamomile wild

The botanical name of the Chamomile Wild is Anthemis mixta. The oil is a steam distillation of the flower heads of the wild chamomile plant. The plant is mainly found in Morocco and grows there in roadsides and fallow land. It is a light to brownish yellow oil and the scent is fresh and spicy.

What is chamomile wild oil used for?

  • Very calming and relaxing
  • Promoting readiness to sleep
  • In case of irritable feelings
  • Soothing and caring for impure skin (including pimples and rashes)
  • In case of discomfort around menstruation
  • Essence oils can be mixed with a neutral massage oil, bath oil, shower gel, body milk or with Volatile dead sea salt. Note: essential oils are highly concentrated. A few drops are often more than enough! Furthermore, the fragrant essential oils can be evaporated in an aroma lamp or with the aid of an aroma stone. And they can be inhaled or processed in aromatic steam baths, baths, foot baths or compresses.
Vaporization: all essential oils are antiseptic and evaporate easily. It is therefore a pleasant way to create a pleasant smell and atmosphere in your home or work space. Put some water in the top of an aroma lamp and add a few drops (maximum 6) of essential oil. Light the tea light in the aroma lamp and the oil will soon start to evaporate. An aroma stone can also be used for small spaces.
Steaming and inhaling: steaming is a very effective way to use essential oils. Place your head under a towel over a bowl of hot water and add 2 to 4 drops of essential oil. It is also possible to put two drops of essential oil on your pillow or on a handkerchief.
Bathing: never use undiluted essential oils in the bath, but mix them with a neutral bath oil. Mix approx. 10 ml of bath oil with 4 to 6 drops of essential oil. The warm bath water promotes the absorption of the essential oils through the skin. A bath of about 15 minutes guarantees an optimal effect of the essential oils. A nurturing foot bath is also possible. Use 2 drops of essential oil with two tablespoons of dead sea salt or 5 ml of neutral bath oil.
Massage: Mix two to six drops of essential oil in 10 ml of neutral base oil. For children, the elderly and during pregnancy, a maximum of 1 drop of essential oil per 10 ml of base oil is recommended.
Compresses: Fill a bowl with warm or cold water and add 4 to 6 drops of essential oil. Soak a towel in this water and place the cold or warm compress on the area to be treated. For example, a cold compress with lavender and Roman chamomile has a wonderful cooling effect on a sprained ankle. For abdominal pain, a warm compress with lavender, marjoram and Roman chamomile is recommended.

    Storage

Save essence «le oil « n out of reach of children and pets. They are flammable and should therefore not be stored or used near an open flame. Be careful with polished surfaces: the oil can affect them. Remove any spilled drops immediately. Due to their volatile nature, essential oils evaporate quickly. They are affected when exposed to heat, light and oxygen and should therefore be kept tightly closed, cool and dark. Essential oils can be stored for several years if the bottle is closed properly. After that, the quality slowly decreases. The citrus oils are an exception to this rule: they must be used within 1 year after opening. Other essential oils, on the other hand, such as sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver can be stored for years after opening without decreasing in quality.
