  The 3M €ž¢ Littmanne® Classic II Infant Stethoscope is specially designed for use with the smallest patients. It delivers high acoustic sensitivity through the two-sided chestpiece, for both high and low frequency sounds. This model is used by both specialists and students to identify heart, lung and other body sounds for physical examination and diagnosis in the youngest patients. The tension of the headset is easily adjusted to suit any head size and user needs by squeezing or pulling the earbuds apart. Snap-fit earplugs with a soft seal feel comfortable in the ear and provide an excellent acoustic seal. The earplugs click firmly onto the ends of the tubes and, for safety, cannot simply be removed. Next-generation robust hoses maintain their shape and flexibility even when stored compactly. The stethoscope lasts longer and is also more resistant to the influence of skin oils and alcohol and to stains. Next-generation tubing contains no natural rubber (latex), an advantage for sensitive clinicians and their patients.
