To collect urine from incontinent residents. A large felt has been developed for this purpose, which can easily be fixed in the Inco material. A strip test can then easily be performed on the urine-saturated felt on site.

The De PeeSpot INCO Pad is the most reliable, inexpensive and simple way to investigate urinary tract infection in incontinent people who use incontinence pads.

• A layer of felt is applied to a self-adhesive water-repellent underlay that is glued into the incontinence pad.
• After some time, the PeeSpot INCO pad can be removed from the underlay. be removed and a urine test strip can be applied.

PeeSpot INCO Pad instructions for use.

1. Always wear gloves when in contact with the felt.
2. Remove the pad from the plastic zipper bag and remove the protective cover.
3. Place the felt in the Inco material in such a way that it cannot chafe or press against the skin
when lying and/or sitting. This is to prevent any damage to the skin.
4. Check after 2 hours (or earlier if there is an indication of urine production) whether the felt contains urine.
If the felt is still dry after 2 hours, it can be left in place. Then check again after 2 hours
etc.
5. If the felt contains urine, remove the felt and store it in the plastic zipper bag. If the
inco material is reused, remove the pad first.
6. The felt must not contain (traces of) faeces. In that case collect urine again.
7. The wet felt may be stored in the tightly sealed zipper bag at room temperature for 4 hours or in the refrigerator for 24 hours before performing the strip test.
8. Performing the strip test: Place the wet felt on the plastic ziplock bag and place a
test strip on top with the test surfaces facing down. Rub it three times (do not
press hard) and check whether the surfaces are homogeneously wet. Wait until the test strip can
read (usually after 30 seconds; see test strip package insert)
