Sterile suture thread Mersilene consists of braided thin polyester fibers polyester, creating a smooth uniform thread with a high tensile strength. The strength of the threads does not change due to wetting or implantation in the tissue and the thread is non-resorbable.
The suture material is well tolerated by the body. Due to the treatment with a special wax preparation, the Mersilenee® sutures are not capillary.
