The sterile injection needle has a thin wall, which allows for a higher flow of fluids. Furthermore, the needle has a very sharp lancet tip and a layer of silicone lubricant. Due to the sharp point less force is needed to insert the needle, so the insertion opening is small. Due to the layer of silicone lubricant, the needle is inserted smoothly. The diameter of the needle can be recognized by the color-coded hub. The needle is packaged sterile in a colour-coded blister pack. For use with luer-lock and luer-slip connections.
